Check this out. Bill O’Reilly calling Jessica Simpson a patriot. Why? Because she was seen wearing a shirt saying “Real girls eat meat”. Seriously? Here’s a link to the clip. Now, even as a vegetarian I disagree with vegetarian/vegan extremists of PETA almost as much as I disagree with most extremists. But still…calling her a patriot for wearing a stupid t-shirt? You have reached a new low Bill-O.

Call Louisiana…NOW!
18 June 2008Let them know that we don’t want any state in this country to allow Creationism to be taught in science classes.
You can find more information about contacting Bobby Jindal, the governor of Louisiana, who now has the ability either to sign this bill into law or to veto it. I know that he’s a typical fundamentalist, but maybe he’ll listen if enough people let him know how much we oppose this.

Conservapedia takes on Science
18 June 2008For those of you who have never visited the website Conservapedia.com, I suggest you go read some of their “articles, especially the ones discussing homosexuality and evolution. Comedic gold I tell you…Gold.
Now, they have decided to take on science for real. Now keep in mind the man who runs Conservapedia, Andy Schlafly has no background in biology. He runs the website along with a group of (really unfortunate) home-school students. So, this makes his attempt to take on Dr. Richard Lenski who recently released a study of E. coli.
